Cold and Flu Remedy 2 fl oz.

Your Price: $15.00
Item Number: 091

This tincture is for use in herbal teas and made with Echinacea tincture, red root tincture and licorice tincture.  Echinacea helps fight against staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus and mycobacterium (tuberculosis).  Red Root helps to fight against historically stubborn ulcerations of the skin and mucous membranes,  strep throat, and upper respiratory infections.  Licorice helps fight against malaria, tuberculosis, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia Coli, Candida albicans and Toxocara canis.  30 drops in warm tea or juice at least each hour during the onset of upper respiratory infections. Keep refrigerated after opening.

Side effects and contraindications:

Red Root: No side effects have ever been noted.  However, Michael Moore suggests caution by people using blood coagulants and advises against the use of large doses in pregnancy, because of its a stringent action.

Licorice:  Overdoses or long use of large doses can cause severe potassium depletion, hypertension, decrease in plasma renin and aldosterone levels, edema, and at very large doses decreased body and thymus weight and blood cell counts.  Caution should be used, however, in length and strength of dosages.

Echinacea:  Echinacea is a stimulant.  Echinacea should not be used if you're getting sick a lot and are using Echinacea only to stave off illness without using the time gained to heal the immune system itself through deep healing and recuperation.  Rarely, joint pain may occur with large doses taken for extended periods of time.
